Glorious Day of Rejoicing!
Upon the streets of gold, we’ll dance.
Hear the angels voicing
‘Tis the day of The Great Romance!
The Bride sings,
Christ enters in.
Wedding bells ring.
The Father’s face beams;
His happiness fulfilled!
Gazing at Jesus the Redeemer,
A hush falls.
The day of Promise fulfilled,
No more doubts like those of Thomas,
A new age has just begun.
First the fullness of time,
Now time fulfilled.
All believers welcomed
Heaven’s swells.
Resounding love
No more grieving;
The Bride in full array,
The Son receives
The joy set before Him that day!
